Bill Manning

Bill has completed studies in structural engineering at the University of New South Wales and has completed an Honours thesis in timber engineering, focussing on the development of steel-timber hybrid floorplates. He is also currently completing his Passive House design certification course. 

He has an interest in low-carbon and sustainable design, in particular with regard to the impact of building structures on the climate. This includes an interest in carbon calculation, mass timber buildings and retrofits to existing buildings.

Bill has collaborated on a wide range of projects in both Sydney and in London. He has also worked as a tutor at the University of New South Wales.
